Privacy Policy

On this page

At Tin Lion Ventures Pty Ltd trading as Superesque(ACN: 640 100 812), we're committed to protecting your privacy whilst helping you transform from AI user to AI builder. This policy explains how we handle your personal information — no legal jargon, just the straight facts you need to know.

Updates to this policy

We might update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we'll let you know through email or our Slack community, and the latest version will always be available on our website.

How we collect and use personal information

1. Course enrolment and participation

What personal information do we collect?

When you sign up for Superesque, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Company name (if you choose to share it)
  • Your responses to our pre-course questionnaire about current AI usage and what you want to achieve

During the course, we also collect:

  • Audio and video from live sessions (if you choose to share during sessions)
  • Usage data from the platforms we run the course on, which shows us how the course is working
  • Your feedback through surveys and course evaluations
  • Any testimonials or case studies you decide to share with us

We handle payment through Stripe (our payment processor), but we don't store your credit card details — Stripe takes care of all that securely.

For what purposes do we use this personal information?

We use your information to:

  • Deliver the Superesque program and give you access to all course materials and platforms
  • Set up your accounts on TypingMind and other learning tools
  • Keep you in the loop about course updates and provide support when you need it

  • Share relevant AI insights and updates about future programs (you can opt out anytime)
  • Keep records of course completion for your certificate
  • Answer your questions and provide support

Cookies and website measurement

This website uses cookies and measurement tools. Here is what each kind does.

Remembering that you have already given us your details. When you ask us for a free resource, your browser stores a cookie. It holds the details you gave and when you gave them, so you can come back without entering them again. Clearing your browser's cookies for this site removes it. If you are signed in as a Superesque student, we do not ask for your details at all.

Counting visits. Vercel host this website and count how often pages open. This gives us a broad picture of where visits come from. The counting sets no cookie, and we cannot trace it back to a person. It runs across the whole website.

Recognising a contact. ActiveCampaign send our email. They record which pages open on this website and store that against a cookie in your browser. We use it to choose what to send you next. This runs on the public pages only. It does not run inside the student platform or the admin area.

ActiveCampaign can attach those records to you only after they recognise your browser. That happens when you click a link in an email we sent you. Before that, what they recorded is not attached to your name.

To stop this measurement, clear your browser's cookies for this site or block scripts. You can also ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time.

Marketing communications

We'll add you to our mailing list when you enrol in Superesque, or when you request access to any of our resources. We use it to keep you updated on AI developments, course improvements, and future programs. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email — we'll respect your choice immediately.

3. Learning platforms and tools

TypingMind

We provide access to TypingMind for coursework on Foundations. We do not use it on our other programs. We can see overall usage patterns, which show us how the course is working. We cannot see your individual chats or workspace content, and we do not. TypingMind does not use anyone's conversations to train AI models.

Live sessions

Our live sessions are recorded and made available to participants in your cohort, along with transcripts. If you participate by sharing audio or video, this becomes part of the session recording available to your cohort members.

Other platforms

We use other platforms to deliver the course, including Zoom, Notion and Slack. The full list is under “With whom do we share information?” below. Usage data from these platforms shows us what is working and where we can improve the course.

4. Slack community

What we collect

In our Slack community, standard Slack data collection applies — your messages, profile information, and activity. Keep in mind that our Slack plan only retains 90 days of message history, so older conversations aren't available to us or other members.

How long do we keep this information?

Unless otherwise noted above, we keep records for 7 years for business record-keeping purposes. Your contact details stay in our system unless you ask us to remove them.

If you want us to delete your personal information (keeping in mind any legal requirements we have for certain records), just email us at hello@superesque.com and we'll sort it out.

With whom do we share information?

We share your personal information with our trusted service providers who help us deliver the course:

  • TypingMind: For Foundations course platform access (they can't see your chat data)
  • Slack: For community access
  • Zoom: For live session delivery
  • Notion: For course resources
  • Stripe: For secure payment processing
  • ActiveCampaign: For email communications and website visit tracking
  • Vercel: For hosting this website and counting visits to it
  • Supabase: For signing in to the student platform, and the account records behind it
  • Other service providers: Contractors who help us run the course, always under strict confidentiality agreements

All our service providers are SOC2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant, ensuring high standards for security and data protection. In practical terms, this means your data benefits from the same enterprise-grade security standards used by major corporations worldwide.

We might also share information if required by law or to protect our rights, but we'll let you know unless we're legally prohibited from doing so.

International data transfers

Your personal information may be processed in countries outside Australia, including the United States, where our service providers operate their platforms. The providers are listed under “With whom do we share information?” above.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. This includes:

  • Using secure, encrypted connections for data transmission
  • Working only with reputable service providers who maintain strong security practices
  • Limiting access to personal information to staff who need it to deliver our services
  • Regular reviews of our privacy practices and security measures

That said, no internet transmission method is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security (nobody can, really).

Your rights

Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to any legal requirements we have)
  • Complain about our privacy practices

You can also:

  • Unsubscribe from marketing communications anytime
  • Ask us to stop using your information for direct marketing
  • Choose not to provide certain information (though this might affect our ability to provide services)

Anonymity and pseudonyms

Where it's lawful and practical, we'll give you the option to interact with us anonymously or using a pseudonym. However, this isn't always possible for course delivery and certification purposes.

Information from third parties

If we receive personal information about you from someone else (like if a colleague enrols you in a course), we'll protect it according to this privacy policy. If you're providing someone else's information to us, please make sure you have their permission.

Questions and complaints
